"Picture-Perfect Listings: A Step-by-Step Guide to Booking Your Real Estate Photography Experience"

I I receive inquiries from new potential clients every week, and the questions are pouring in: How do I book you? What are your prices? When can I expect the photos back? So, here we are—I'm putting together this blog to guide you through the process.

If you're gearing up to list a property and need a photographer, a heads up: in the busy selling season, my schedule tends to fill up quickly. Currently, I'm booked about a week in advance. Keep this in mind as you coordinate other essential tasks like hiring movers, cleaners, painters, etc. We usually come in as the final step to get the home ready for listing.

When you reach out to book my services, I'll need some key information to secure your spot on my calendar. This includes the home address, estimated square footage, occupancy status (vacant or occupied), lockbox code (if vacant), and your billing zip code.

For your listing, I provide a comprehensive package of 28+ photos, tailored to the home's size. My checklist ensures I capture every crucial area. This typically includes 10 exterior shots showcasing all sides and corners, along with details like the front door and garage area. Inside, expect photos of the entryway, 2-3 of the living area, 4-5 of the kitchen, 1-2 of the dining area, 1 of additional spaces like sunrooms or offices, 1-2 of each bathroom, and 2 of each bedroom.

I don't usually photograph half baths, closets, the inside of pantries, garages, or attics unless specifically requested. You can use the special requests section on my booking form for such specific instructions. If there's an area you believe could enhance the appraisal price, let me know—I'll make sure to capture it.

All of my services are listed when booking- I offer photography, drone, video, measurements and sketches.

As a bonus, you can add 5-10 vignettes to your package. These detail photos are perfect for sharing on social media. If you prefer some blank space for adding text, just give me a heads up, and I'll make it happen!
