Whether your family is in the busy season of raising little ones, navigating different ages and stages, or simply soaking up life together… these days can feel overwhelming.

Family life is beautifully imperfect …full of laughter, little moments, big personalities, and the kind of everyday memories that pass too quickly.

From cuddles and playtime to the joyful chaos of being together, a family session is about capturing your connection just as it is right now.

Because one day, these seasons will change.
The little hands will grow.
The familiar routines will become memories.

Let’s preserve the love, laughter, and moments that make your family yours.

Family Sessions

What to Expect

I’m so excited to capture this season for your family. The days can feel full—busy schedules, big personalities, little routines, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with being together. My goal is to preserve your family exactly as you are right now.

Your family session is lifestyle-based and centered around connection over perfection. There’s no need for stiff poses or forced smiles. Instead, we’ll focus on the way your children laugh, the way you love on them, and the little moments that make your family yours.

The Day of Your Session

When I arrive, we’ll take a few minutes to let everyone get comfortable. Whether we’re photographing in your home or outdoors, I’ll look for the best light and create space for your family to simply interact and enjoy one another.

We may move through a few different activities—playing, cuddling, reading, exploring, or sharing a snack. I’ll gently guide you when needed, but there’s no strict timeline or list of perfect poses to get through.

Your Children

Your children do not need to sit still, smile on command, or behave perfectly for photos.

Some kids jump right in, while others need time to warm up. Some are full of energy, and some prefer to observe. All of it is welcome.

I’ll follow their lead and use play, movement, and connection to help them feel comfortable. The most genuine images often happen in between the planned moments—when they’re laughing, exploring, or reaching for you.

The best way to prepare them is simple: Let them know a friend is coming to take photos of your family. There’s no need to pressure them to smile or perform.

Mom & Dad

You don’t need to know what to do in front of the camera.

I’ll offer simple prompts and gentle direction, but my focus is on capturing the real connection between you and your children. Hold them close, chase them around, laugh with them, and love on them just as you normally would.

You don’t have to look perfect. You just have to be present.

What to Wear

Think neutral, soft, and comfortable.

Simple tones and coordinating colors photograph beautifully while keeping the focus on your family. Choose clothing that allows everyone to move, play, and feel like themselves. Flowy fabrics, cozy textures, and timeless pieces are always a great choice.

You don’t need to match perfectly. Instead, aim for colors and textures that work well together without feeling overly coordinated.

If you’d like help planning outfits, I’m always happy to guide you.

A Final Note

Family sessions are relaxed, playful, and centered around connection. There’s no pressure for everyone to cooperate perfectly and no expectation that your children will sit still the entire time.

The wiggles, the laughter, the cuddles, and even the unexpected moments are all part of your story.

Come as you are, love on your people, and let’s preserve this season before it changes.

If you have any questions at all, I’m just an email away. I can’t wait to capture your family for you 🤍
