Whether it’s 2 under 2, 3 under 3, or a little more spread apart… these days can feel overwhelming.

And yet, you’ll hear it all the time
“I miss those days.”

You might not believe it right now.
You’re in the thick of it.

But one day… you will.

Let me help you hold onto it.

Newborn Lifestyle Sessions

What to Expect

I am so excited to capture this season for your family. Those early newborn days are a blur in the best (and hardest) way—and my goal is to preserve them exactly as they felt.

Your newborn session takes place in the comfort of your own home. My style is lifestyle-based, which means I focus on connection over perfection. No stiff posing, no pressure—just your family, as you are, in a space that already means something to you.

The Day of Your Session

When I arrive, I’ll take a quick look around your home to find the best natural light. I typically use spaces like the master bedroom, nursery, or living room—anywhere with good light and room to connect.

And truly… your home does not need to be spotless.
You just had a baby. We can quickly tidy any small areas we plan to use, and I’ll guide you through that.

Your Baby

Your baby is already perfect—no posing required.

I don’t force sleep or place babies into unnatural positions. Instead, I follow your baby’s lead. Whether they’re sleepy, wide-eyed, or needing extra snuggles, we embrace it all.

I recommend dressing baby in a simple, neutral, form-fitting onesie (newborn or preemie sizes usually work best). We may remove it for some natural, skin-to-skin images as well.

Have a few favorite swaddles nearby, and if possible, feed baby about 15 minutes before I arrive. That said, there is no rush. We move at your baby’s pace, always.

Siblings

If there are siblings involved, we’ll start with them early while their interest is still fresh.

There’s zero pressure for them to “perform.” I never force interactions or poses. Some kids are all in, some need a little space and both are completely okay.

The best way to prepare them is simple: Let them know a friend is coming over to take photos of your family. No surprises needed.

Mom & Dad

This season is beautiful… and also a lot.

You’re likely running on little sleep, feeling all the emotions, and adjusting to a brand new rhythm. I see you in that.

You don’t need to show up as anything other than yourselves. My job isn’t to make this look perfect; it’s to show you how meaningful it already is.

Just come as you are. I’ll take care of the rest.

What to Wear

Think neutral, soft, and comfortable.

Simple tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your connection as a family. Flowy fabrics, cozy textures, and pieces you feel good in are always a win.

If you’d like help planning outfits, I’m always happy to guide you.

A Final Note

These sessions are slow, flexible, and centered around your family. There’s no pressure, no timeline to rush, and no expectation other than showing up and loving on your people.

That’s where the magic is.

If you have any questions at all, I’m just an email away. I can’t wait to capture this for you 🤍
